Limited financial support will be available to assist graduate students, PhD students and PostDocs. Such awards will cover conference fee and accommodation in a shared room at a special rate hotel.

Any undergraduate, graduate student, or Post Doc 2012 SIMAI member who is at most 30 years old is eligible to receive an award. 

Top priority will be given to

• applicants presenting papers at the meeting;
• applicants that make themselves available to assist the conference staff for approximately 20 hours during the conference dates (generally organized for a shift of 4 - 5 hours).  (*)

In addition to the completed application form an application for an award must include:

• A one-page resume that includes the applicant's research interests, projects, and papers published, and a URL for a working Web page (if available)
• A recommendation letter indicating why the applicant is deserving of receiving an award and any special circumstances.
• Title(s) of the paper(s) to be presented at SIMAI 2012

Please note that to be eligible for the award, applicants are expected to be 2012 SIMAI members.

(*) Typical volunteers' tasks may include: conference rooms monitoring; assistance to attendees', including check-in, distribution of conference material, program information, and technical support; general registration and technical asssistance needs.
